Prayer for the Family and Unity of the Home

Family is the greatest gift and also the place where we most need patience and love. Living together is not always easy, but it is at home that we learn to forgive and begin again.
When we place our home in God’s hands, He becomes the center that keeps us together.
Today's word“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”Joshua 24:15
The prayer
Lord, I place my family under Your protection. Bind our home together with love, cover our house with peace, and drive away all discord, resentment and wounding words.
Bless each person who lives with me: guard the health, the mind and the heart of all. Where there is distance, restore the bonds; where there is weariness, bring rest; where there is lack, bring provision.
May our home be a place of faith, forgiveness and joy. Thank You, Lord, for each one You gave me to love. Amen.
