Health is one of the greatest treasures we have, and often we only realize its value when it fails us. In times of illness, faith becomes medicine for the soul.

The prayer
Lord, You are the healer of healers. I place before You my body and my health. Touch every cell, restore what needs to be restored, and give me back my strength.
Give wisdom to those who care for me and comfort my heart on the hard days. May Your peace be the medicine of my soul while my body recovers.
I believe in Your power to heal and I rest in the certainty that You care for me. Amen.

Having faith in healing does not mean rejecting treatment, but trusting that God also works through doctors and the care we receive.
